What we move

Fast mobilization, 24/7

What we can promise, and what we won’t.

What you get

  • Dispatch answers 24/7. You reach a person who can assign a truck, in English or Spanish.
  • We check the route before rolling. Road closures, fuel and site access, confirmed with you first.
  • One point of contact. The same dispatcher from first call to delivery photos.
  • Recurring moves as a program. Season starts, job site rotations and branch-yard moves.
  • Our own trucks. No load board, no hand-offs to an unknown carrier.

Honest limits

  • Mobilization time varies. It depends on the nearest driver and equipment: [CONFIRMAR: tiempo típico de movilización].
  • Roads must be open. We dispatch into affected areas only when commercial traffic can get through.
  • We don't rent units. Your sanitation supplier provides them; we handle the move.
  • Capacity depends on the units. Standard units run out of space before weight: [CONFIRMAR: capacidad por carga].
  • If we can't make your window, we say so. On the first call, so you can make other plans.

Before the truck rolls

Is your order ready to load?

If something is missing, we tell you before dispatch so nobody wastes a trip into a disaster zone.

The full guide

Everything in detail.

When a hurricane hits or a big job breaks ground, sanitation is one of the first things people need and one of the hardest to move fast. Best Friend Transport is a direct carrier: the truck that picks up your portable restroom units is ours, the driver is ours, and one dispatcher owns the job from first call to delivery.

What we move

Portable restroom transport is more than stacking blue boxes on a trailer. Each piece of equipment loads and secures differently, and the driver needs to know what is on the deck before leaving the yard. This is what we haul:

  • Standard portable toilets. Light, tall and easy to tip. They ride upright, strapped in rows, with doors latched and tanks pumped.
  • ADA-accessible units. Wider footprint and heavier. They take more deck space per unit, so plan for fewer per load.
  • Restroom trailers and shower trailers. Towed as a trailer, not loaded on one. Our restroom trailer transport covers luxury event trailers, multi-stall job site trailers and shower units for crews and shelters.
  • Handwash stations and sanitation units. Freestanding sinks, holding tanks and fresh water tanks.
  • Support equipment. Generators, light towers and other emergency equipment that has to arrive alongside the restrooms.

If it is not on this list, ask. Sanitation unit hauling has more variety than most carriers expect, and we would rather plan it right than turn up with the wrong truck.

Who we work with

This is a B2B service. We don’t rent restrooms, and we don’t sell to your customers. We move your equipment.

  • Portable restroom rental companies that need extra trucks during peak season or a storm response.
  • General contractors and restoration crews setting up job sites and base camps.
  • Event organizers and production companies moving restroom trailers between venues.
  • Public agencies and relief organizations staging sanitation for shelters, distribution points and work crews.
  • Equipment dealers and manufacturers delivering new trailers to buyers.

Whatever side you are on, you get the same thing: one point of contact, honest pickup windows and photos on delivery.

Fast mobilization, 24/7

Disaster relief transportation does not wait for business hours, so our dispatch doesn’t either. Call or WhatsApp any time, in English or Spanish, and you talk to someone who can actually assign a truck.

What we can tell you honestly:

  • Dispatch answers 24/7. You reach a person, not a voicemail queue.
  • Mobilization time depends on where the nearest available driver is and what equipment the load needs. Our typical window: [CONFIRMAR: tiempo típico de movilización y radio de respuesta].
  • We check the route before rolling. Road closures, fuel availability and site access change by the hour after a storm. We confirm them with you before the truck enters the area.
  • We don’t promise what we can’t deliver. If we can’t make your window, we say so on the first call so you can make other plans.

Capacity per load

How much moves on each truck depends on the units, the trailer and the weight limits on your route. We plan it with you before quoting instead of guessing.

Equipment Typical units per load Notes
Standard portable toilets [CONFIRMAR: unidades por carga] Space runs out before weight does
ADA units [CONFIRMAR: unidades por carga] Larger footprint per unit
Restroom or shower trailer [CONFIRMAR: tráileres por viaje] Towed; hitch type and weight decide the truck
Generators and tanks [CONFIRMAR: capacidad] Quoted by weight and dimensions

Equipment available for this work: [CONFIRMAR: equipo — hotshot/gooseneck/dually/tractor y largo de plataforma]. If a single load can’t carry your full order, we split it into waves and tell you which units arrive first.

How an emergency order works

  1. Call or message dispatch. Give us pickup and delivery locations, unit types and counts, and when you need them on site.
  2. We confirm truck, window and price. You get a firm price and a realistic pickup window. With a direct carrier, the quote is the price.
  3. Pickup and securement. The driver checks that units are pumped and latched, loads them upright and straps each row. Trailers get a walkaround: lights, tires, brakes, hitch and safety chains.
  4. Updates on the road. Your dispatcher keeps you posted, especially when conditions near the site change.
  5. Delivery with photos. Units are placed where your crew needs them when access allows, and you get delivery photos for your records.

Power Only for restroom trailer fleets

If you already own restroom or shower trailers and just need a truck and driver to pull them, you don’t need a full transport package. That is Power Only trucking: we bring the truck and the driver, you supply the trailer, and we move it where it needs to go. It works well for rental companies that own plenty of trailers but not enough trucks during peak season or a storm surge.

Our fleet also hauls RVs and travel trailers, so trailers of every shape are routine for our drivers. See how we handle RV transport if you want to know how we hitch, inspect and deliver towed units.

Frequently asked questions

Still wondering? Call (954) 899-9436— a dispatcher picks up.

Do you own portable restrooms or rent them out?

No. We are a transport carrier, not a rental company. You own or rent the units; we pick them up and deliver them where you need them. That keeps us out of your customer relationship: we haul for rental companies and contractors without competing with them. If you need units, your sanitation supplier provides them and we handle the move.

How fast can you get a truck to us in an emergency?

Dispatch answers 24/7, and we give you a real pickup window on the first call instead of a vague promise. How fast a truck can roll depends on where our nearest driver is, the equipment you need and road conditions in the affected area. Our typical mobilization time is [CONFIRMAR: tiempo típico de movilización en emergencias].

Can you move restroom and shower trailers, not just single units?

Yes. Restroom trailers and shower trailers are a core part of this service, along with ADA-accessible units, handwash stations and support equipment like generators and water tanks. Send us the length, weight, hitch type and whether the trailer is road-ready, and we will match the right truck. Equipment we run for this: [CONFIRMAR: equipo — hotshot/gooseneck/dually/tractor].

How many portable toilets fit on one load?

It depends on the unit model, whether they are standard or ADA, and the deck we assign. Standard units are light but bulky, so space usually runs out before weight does. Our current capacity per load is [CONFIRMAR: capacidad de baños por carga y tipo de tráiler]. Tell us your unit count and models and we will plan the loads before the truck leaves.

Do you work in hurricane and wildfire zones?

Yes, as long as the roads are open to commercial traffic and the site is safe to reach. Before dispatching into an affected area we check road closures, fuel availability and site access with you. If a route is closed, we tell you right away and work out a staging point instead of letting a load sit without an update.

Are you licensed and insured for this kind of freight?

Best Friend Transport LLC is registered with FMCSA under USDOT 4241168 and MC 1642448, and you can verify both on the FMCSA SAFER site. As a registered motor carrier we carry the liability insurance FMCSA requires. Cargo coverage details for your equipment: [CONFIRMAR: monto y tipo de seguro de carga]. Ask for a certificate of insurance before the first load.

Can you handle recurring moves, not only emergencies?

Yes. Plenty of the work is planned: season starts for event companies, rotating units between job sites, moving inventory between branch yards. Recurring moves are easier to schedule, and the same dispatcher learns your yards, contacts and gate rules. Tell us your usual lanes and frequency and we will quote them as a program.
