How does RV transport work?
You send us the RV's year, make, model, length, pickup and delivery addresses and your dates. We quote a firm price, assign a truck and driver, and schedule the pickup window. The driver inspects and photographs the RV, hooks it up or loads it, and hauls it to destination. At delivery you walk around it together, compare it with the pickup photos and sign off.
Read more on RV TransportHow much does RV transport cost?
It depends on distance, the type and size of the RV, the method (tow-away, deck or drive-away), the route, the season and how fast you need it. A short in-state move and a coast-to-coast fifth wheel are very different jobs. Our RV transport cost guide breaks down every factor, and a quote with your exact details gives you a firm number, usually [CONFIRMAR: tiempo de respuesta de la cotización].
Read more on RV TransportAre you a broker or a carrier?
We are a direct carrier registered with FMCSA under USDOT 4241168 and MC 1642448. Your RV moves on our own trucks with our own drivers, or with our affiliate Jobe Kemba Transport LLC. We never sell your load to a third party on a load board, so the company that quotes you is the company that shows up.
Read more on RV TransportIs my RV insured during transport?
Yes. FMCSA-registered carriers must carry liability insurance, and we also carry cargo coverage for the unit we haul ([CONFIRMAR: monto del seguro de carga]). Ask us for the certificate of insurance before pickup. Keep your own RV policy active too: some owners' policies add coverage in transit, and it costs nothing to call your agent and ask.
Read more on RV TransportHow long does it take to ship an RV across the country?
Transit time depends on miles, the method, weather, legal driving hours and the route. A regional move can take [CONFIRMAR: días regionales] and a coast-to-coast move [CONFIRMAR: días costa a costa]. We give you a pickup window when you book and your dispatcher keeps you updated, but we do not promise exact delivery dates that weather or roads could break.
Read more on RV TransportCan I leave personal belongings inside the RV?
Our policy is [CONFIRMAR: política de artículos personales — permitido, límite de peso o prohibido]. Whatever the limit, loose items shift on the road, add weight and are usually not covered by cargo insurance. Secure or remove anything heavy, fragile or valuable, and never leave cash, firearms, documents or medications inside.
Read more on RV TransportDo you transport motorhomes that don't run?
A motorhome that won't start cannot be driven away and usually cannot be towed safely on its own wheels for long distances. Non-running units generally go on a deck or flatbed trailer and may need a winch at pickup. Tell us up front so we send the right equipment: [CONFIRMAR: equipo para unidades que no funcionan].
Read more on RV TransportDo I need to be there at pickup and delivery?
You or someone you trust needs to be there, at both ends. That person walks around the RV with the driver, agrees on the condition report, hands over keys and signs. If you bought from a dealer out of state, the dealer can release the unit at pickup, and you or a family member can receive it at home.
Read more on RV TransportCan you pick up an RV I bought from a dealer in another state?
Yes, that is one of our most common jobs. Send us the dealer's name and address, the stock or VIN number and the release date. We coordinate the pickup window with the dealer, confirm the paperwork they will hand to the driver, and deliver the RV to your home, storage lot or campground.
Read more on RV TransportDo you move RVs to Alaska or Hawaii?
No. We haul by road across the lower 48 states. Hawaii requires ocean shipping, and Alaska involves long Canadian highway routes or ocean freight that we do not run. Within the contiguous United States we move RVs coast to coast, north to south and everything in between.
Read more on RV TransportDo you speak Spanish?
Yes. Our dispatch team works in English and Spanish, 24/7. You can call sales at (239) 763-5447 or message us on WhatsApp at (954) 899-9436 and keep the whole move, from quote to delivery, in the language you are most comfortable with.
Read more on RV TransportWhat is the difference between tow-away and flatbed RV transport?
With tow-away, our truck hooks to your trailer and pulls it on its own wheels, like you would, only with the right truck and an experienced driver. With flatbed or deck transport, the whole RV rides on our trailer, so its tires, brakes and axles do no work. Deck costs more and has size limits; tow-away suits most towables in good condition.
Read more on RV TransportWhat kind of truck do you use for fifth wheel transport?
A fifth wheel can only be towed by a truck with a fifth-wheel hitch mounted in the bed, over or just ahead of the rear axle. The truck also has to be rated for your trailer's pin weight and gross weight, not just able to pull it. Our setup is [CONFIRMAR: equipo — dually/hotshot con enganche de quinta rueda, capacidad de remolque]. Send us your trailer's GVWR and we will tell you before we book.
Read more on Fifth Wheel TransportCan I leave my belongings inside the fifth wheel?
Some light items can usually stay if they are secured, but anything heavy or valuable should come out. Weight inside the trailer adds to what the truck and tires carry, and loose items shift and break things on the road. Our current rule is [CONFIRMAR: política de artículos personales — límite de peso y si el seguro de carga los cubre]. Ask your dispatcher before you pack.
Read more on Fifth Wheel TransportHow long does it take to ship a fifth wheel?
It depends on distance, pickup and delivery windows, weather, and route. Federal hours-of-service rules also limit how long a driver can drive each day, which sets a realistic pace for long trips. Our typical timing is [CONFIRMAR: tiempos de tránsito típicos por distancia]. Your dispatcher gives you a pickup window when you book and keeps you posted until delivery.
Read more on Fifth Wheel TransportDo you move fifth wheels that are not roadworthy?
Tow-away transport needs working tires, bearings, brakes, and lights, because your fifth wheel rolls on its own axles the whole way. If the trailer has a bent frame, failed axles, or no brakes, it may need a different method or repairs first. Tell us the condition up front so we can quote the right option: [CONFIRMAR: ¿movemos fifth wheels que no ruedan y con qué equipo?].
Read more on Fifth Wheel TransportHow is fifth wheel transport priced?
The main factors are miles, the size and weight of your fifth wheel, pickup and delivery locations, timing, and season. A larger, heavier unit needs a heavier truck and burns more fuel. We give you a firm number before booking, and because we are the carrier hauling it, that number does not change after a broker resells the load. See the RV transport cost guide for the full breakdown.
Read more on Fifth Wheel TransportIs my fifth wheel insured during transport?
Carriers registered with FMCSA must carry liability insurance, and Best Friend Transport is registered under USDOT 4241168 and MC 1642448. Cargo coverage for the trailer itself is [CONFIRMAR: monto del seguro de carga]. We document the trailer's condition with photos at pickup and delivery, so if something happens on the road there is a clear record from both ends.
Read more on Fifth Wheel TransportCan you pick up a fifth wheel from a dealer or private seller?
Yes. Out-of-state purchases are one of the most common reasons people ship a fifth wheel. We coordinate pickup with the dealer or seller, do the walk-around inspection there, and deliver to your home, storage lot, or campground. Have the seller confirm the trailer is ready, the hitch area is clear, and someone will be there to release it.
Read more on Fifth Wheel TransportIs tow-away or flatbed better for a travel trailer?
For a roadworthy travel trailer, tow-away is the standard method: it is how the trailer was built to travel, and it usually costs less. Flatbed makes sense when the trailer can't roll safely, such as bad axles, failed brakes, or a damaged frame, or when it is a small or vintage unit you want off its own tires. Our flatbed availability is [CONFIRMAR: ¿ofrecemos flatbed/deck para travel trailers?].
Read more on Travel Trailer TransportHow long does travel trailer transport take?
Short regional moves can be quick, while cross-country trips take several days of driving. Federal hours-of-service rules limit daily driving time, and weather, route, and pickup windows also play a part. Our typical timing is [CONFIRMAR: tiempos de tránsito típicos por distancia]. Your dispatcher gives you a pickup window at booking and updates you until the trailer is delivered.
Read more on Travel Trailer TransportDo you transport pop-up campers and small teardrops?
Yes. Pop-ups, teardrops, and small hybrid campers are part of our camper transport work. Pop-ups need extra care: the roof must be fully down and latched, and canvas and bunk ends must be secured so wind can't catch them. Very light campers may also need to be loaded differently than a full-size trailer. Tell us the exact model when you ask for a quote.
Read more on Travel Trailer TransportCan you move a vintage travel trailer?
Often, yes. Vintage trailers move fine when the axle, bearings, tires, and frame are sound. Many have original or dry-rotted tires, worn bearings, or no working brakes, and those need repair or a flatbed. Send us photos of the tires, hitch, and underside. We will tell you honestly whether it can be towed and what method we recommend: [CONFIRMAR: ¿movemos trailas vintage en flatbed?].
Read more on Travel Trailer TransportWhat should I check on my travel trailer before pickup?
Check tire pressure and age, wheel bearings if they haven't been serviced recently, the breakaway cable and battery, and the lights through the 7-pin plug. Retract the awning and steps, empty the tanks, latch cabinets, close vents, and turn off the propane. The driver checks all of this again at pickup, but finding a problem a week ahead keeps your move on schedule.
Read more on Travel Trailer TransportHow is travel trailer transport priced?
Distance, trailer length and weight, pickup and delivery access, method, timing, and season all matter. Flatbed usually costs more than tow-away because it needs different equipment. You get one firm number before booking, and since we are the carrier doing the hauling, it doesn't change after a broker resells the load. Our RV transport cost guide explains each factor.
Read more on Travel Trailer TransportCan I ride along or follow the truck?
You can follow in your own vehicle if you want, but the driver runs on a professional schedule with required rest breaks and won't wait on a convoy. Passengers in the truck are [CONFIRMAR: política de pasajeros]. Most customers find it easier to meet the trailer at delivery, where the driver does a final walk-around with you and photos of the condition.

17 questions
How much does boat transport cost?
It depends on distance, the boat's length, width and weight, whether it rides on its own trailer, the route and the time of year. Boats wider than 8.5 feet need oversize permits, and very wide loads may need escort vehicles, which adds cost. We give you one written price after we see the specs, and that price does not change at pickup. Our boat transport cost guide breaks the factors down.
Read more on Boat TransportCan you move my boat on its own trailer?
Yes, if the trailer is roadworthy. Our driver hooks up with the right ball or pintle, checks tires, bearings, lights, brakes, safety chains and the winch strap before rolling. If the trailer has problems, we tell you before pickup so you can fix it or we can quote hauling the boat on our equipment instead.
Read more on Boat TransportWhat if my boat has no trailer?
Then the boat has to be loaded onto carrier equipment, usually with a lift, crane or travel lift at the marina or yard. We coordinate the pickup time with the facility so the truck is there when the boat comes out. Tell us when you request the quote, because the equipment we send depends on it: [CONFIRMAR: equipo para botes sin tráiler — tráiler hidráulico / deck propio].
Read more on Boat TransportHow long does boat transport take?
Transit time depends on miles, legal driving hours, weather, and whether the load is oversize, because many states restrict oversize moves to daylight hours and some limit weekend travel. Short regional moves can take a day or two. Cross-country moves take longer. We give you a realistic window when you book and keep you updated from pickup to delivery: [CONFIRMAR: tiempos típicos de tránsito propios].
Read more on Boat TransportDo I need a permit to transport my boat?
If the boat on its trailer is 8.5 feet (102 inches) wide or less and within height and weight limits, it usually moves without an oversize permit. Wider boats need permits from each state on the route, and some widths require escort vehicles or route restrictions. Rules vary by state and route, so as the carrier we pull the permits and plan the route for you.
Read more on Boat TransportIs my boat insured during transport?
Carriers registered with the FMCSA must carry liability insurance, and we carry cargo coverage for the loads we haul: [CONFIRMAR: monto del seguro de carga]. Before pickup we document the boat's condition with photos. We also suggest you call your marine insurer and confirm your own policy covers the boat while it is in transit on a truck.
Read more on Boat TransportCan I leave personal items or gear in the boat?
Keep it to a minimum and tie down whatever stays. Loose gear moves at highway speed and can damage the boat or fly out. Life jackets, fenders and lines can stay if they are stowed and secured. Remove electronics, valuables and documents. Personal items are generally not covered by cargo insurance: [CONFIRMAR: política de artículos personales dentro del bote].
Read more on Boat TransportDo you move pontoons and center consoles?
Yes. Center consoles, pontoons, bowriders, bass and fishing boats, deck boats, ski and wake boats, and sailboats with the mast unstepped are all regular loads. Pontoon logs need proper bunk support, and center consoles often need T-tops or outriggers checked for height. For larger cruisers and yachts, see our yacht transport page.
Read more on Boat TransportWhen is the busiest time for boat hauling?
Spring and fall. In spring, boats come out of storage and head north or to the lakes. In fall, snowbirds send boats south and owners in the Southeast move boats inland ahead of storms during hurricane season, June 1 to November 30. Book early in those months, and earlier still if your boat is oversize and needs permits.
Read more on Boat TransportDo you transport boats in Spanish?
Yes. Our dispatchers speak English and Spanish, and you can reach us 24/7 by phone at (954) 899-9436, by WhatsApp at the same number, or through our sales line at (239) 763-5447. The quote, the pickup coordination and the delivery updates can all be handled in the language you prefer.
Read more on Boat TransportWhat is the largest yacht that can be moved by truck?
There is no single number. The real limits are width, height and weight on the trailer, plus the bridges, curves and permit rules along the route. Beyond 8.5 feet wide every state requires a permit, and very wide or heavy yachts can become superloads with route surveys and extra escorts. Send us the length, beam, height and weight and we will tell you if a road move is realistic: [CONFIRMAR: tamaño máximo de yate que movemos].
Read more on Yacht Transport by TruckIs it cheaper to move a yacht by road or by sea?
For many inland or cross-country moves, road transport is cheaper and faster than running the boat or shipping it, because there is no long sea route, fuel burn or engine hours. For very large yachts, or moves between distant coastal ports, sea options can make more sense. The best way to compare is to get a road quote with your exact dimensions.
Read more on Yacht Transport by TruckDo you need escort vehicles for yacht transport?
Often, yes. Most yachts are wider than 8.5 feet, so they move as oversize loads. Each state sets the width at which one or more escort vehicles are required, and some routes need extra escorts or police escort for very wide loads. These rules vary by state and route, so we plan escorts as part of the permit process and include them in your quote.
Read more on Yacht Transport by TruckDoes the Jones Act apply to yacht transport by truck?
No. The Jones Act deals with moving goods by water between U.S. ports. When your yacht travels over the road on a truck, it is a highway shipment regulated by the FMCSA and by each state's oversize permit rules, not a maritime shipment. If you are considering shipping by sea, ask a maritime specialist about the rules for your route.
Read more on Yacht Transport by TruckWho removes the flybridge, arch or radar before transport?
Usually the yard or marina at the origin, or a technician you hire, because they know your boat's systems and can reinstall the parts at destination. We tell you the target height for your route so they know exactly what must come off. Our driver secures removed parts on the load if they travel with the yacht.
Read more on Yacht Transport by TruckIs my yacht insured while it is on the truck?
Carriers registered with the FMCSA must carry liability insurance, and we carry cargo coverage for the boats we haul: [CONFIRMAR: monto del seguro de carga]. For a high-value yacht, also confirm with your marine insurer that your hull policy covers overland transit, and ask whether they need the route or a certificate from us before the move.
Read more on Yacht Transport by TruckHow far in advance should I book yacht transport?
Oversize permits, escort scheduling and crane time at the marinas all take time to line up, so earlier is better, especially in spring, fall and hurricane season. Contact us as soon as you know your dates and the yacht's dimensions: [CONFIRMAR: plazo de anticipación recomendado para yates].

19 questions
How much does it cost to transport an RV?
It depends on miles, the type and size of the RV, and whether it is towed or hauled on a deck. On real moves we hauled between February 2025 and October 2026, travel trailers and fifth wheels going 700 miles or more ran about $1.70–$2.10 per mile, usually $1,400–$3,000 in total, while runs under 300 miles were around $400–$600. That is not a quote; send us origin, destination and the RV details for your exact number.
Read more on RV Transport CostWhat is the average RV transport cost per mile?
Industry guides commonly cite roughly $1.50–$4.50 per mile across all RV types, and our own numbers fall inside that. On real moves we hauled between February 2025 and October 2026, the median was $1.81 per mile for travel trailers and $2.10 for fifth wheels. Runs under 300 miles ran about $3–$3.40 per mile; trips of 700 miles or more, about $1.70–$2.00. Not a quote: your move sets the exact rate.
Read more on RV Transport CostWhat is the cost to ship a fifth wheel?
A fifth wheel needs a truck with a fifth-wheel hitch and enough capacity for the pin weight, so it usually costs a bit more than a bumper-pull trailer. On real fifth wheel moves we hauled between February 2025 and October 2026, the median was $1,200 for a trip of about 600 miles; 300–699 miles typically ran $800–$1,200 and 1,200–1,999 miles about $2,300–$3,000. Not a quote. See our fifth wheel transport page for how we hook up and haul.
Read more on RV Transport CostHow much is travel trailer transport cost compared to a motorhome?
Travel trailers are usually the cheapest RVs to move because most can be towed with a standard hitch. Motorhomes cost more: they either need a deck trailer or a licensed driver for a drive-away, and they weigh more. See the table on this page for our travel trailer rates; our motorhome rates are [CONFIRMAR: $/mi motorhome por tramo de distancia].
Read more on RV Transport CostDoes the price change after I book?
Not with us. We are a direct carrier, so the truck and driver that move your RV are ours or our affiliate's. Nobody has to find a carrier willing to take your load after you book. If your RV's details are accurate, the quote is the price. If the specs were wrong, for example a longer RV or one that does not run, we tell you before dispatch.
Read more on RV Transport CostIs RV transport cheaper in certain months?
Often, yes. On our own RV loads from February 2025 to October 2026, February and March were the busiest months and July the slowest. Demand also jumps on some lanes when snowbirds move and during hurricane evacuations. Moving outside those peaks, or being flexible by a few days, can lower the price. Ask our dispatcher which dates work best on your route.
Read more on RV Transport CostDo I pay extra if my RV doesn't run?
A non-running RV usually costs more because it needs a winch, a deck trailer or extra labor to load. A towable trailer with bad brakes, flat tires or a broken hitch may also need repairs or a deck before it can move safely. Tell us up front and we price it in. Our surcharge is [CONFIRMAR: cargo por RV que no funciona].
Read more on RV Transport CostIs it cheaper to tow my RV myself?
Sometimes, if you already own a truck rated for the RV, the right hitch, and have the time. Count fuel, tolls, hotels, wear on your truck, and days off work. For large fifth wheels and motorhomes, or for owners who would need to buy or rent a capable truck, hiring a carrier is often close in cost and much less risk.
Read more on RV Transport CostDo you require a deposit?
Our payment terms are [CONFIRMAR: depósito, forma y momento de pago]. Whatever they are, you get them in writing with the quote, before you commit, and they do not change after booking.
Read more on RV Transport CostHow do I get an exact RV transport price?
Fill out our free RV transport quote form or call sales at (239) 763-5447. We need pickup and delivery locations, year, make and model, length, whether it runs, and your dates. A dispatcher checks the route and sends you a firm price. You can also message us on WhatsApp at (954) 899-9436, in English or Spanish.
Read more on RV Transport CostHow much does it cost to transport a boat?
It depends on the boat's length, beam, height, weight and how far it is going. On real moves we hauled between February 2025 and October 2026, boats going 300–2,000 miles ran about $3.50–$4 per mile, with median totals from about $2,000 to $4,500; runs under 300 miles were around $1,000. Boats wider than 8.5 feet, tall boats and heavy boats sit at the top of that range or above. Not a quote: send us the boat details and route for your exact price.
Read more on Boat Transport CostWhat is the average boat transport cost per mile?
Industry guides commonly cite roughly $1.50–$7 per mile on typical distances. On real moves we hauled between February 2025 and October 2026, the median was $3.83 per mile, and half of all moves fell between $2.61 and $4.64. Runs under 300 miles cost more per mile, around $7.50 at the median, because loading is the same work at any distance. Wide, tall or heavy boats sit at the top of the range or above. Not a quote.
Read more on Boat Transport CostIs it cheaper if my boat is already on a trailer?
Usually, yes. If your boat sits on a road-worthy trailer with good tires, bearings, lights and brakes where required, we can often tow it with a pickup-style truck instead of loading it onto our own equipment. That saves loading time and equipment cost. Our price difference is [CONFIRMAR: diferencia de precio con tráiler propio vs equipo nuestro].
Read more on Boat Transport CostHow much do wide-load permits add?
Boats wider than 8.5 feet need an oversize permit in every state on the route, and permit fees vary by state. Wider boats can also require pilot cars and limit travel to daylight hours, which adds days. We include permits and escorts in your quote so you see one number. Typical permit and escort costs on our moves are [CONFIRMAR: costo típico de permisos y escoltas].
Read more on Boat Transport CostWhat is the cost of yacht transport by truck?
Larger yachts cost more per mile because of weight, beam, height and the extra planning they require: route surveys, permits, escorts, and often a crane or travel lift at each end. Disassembly of arches, towers or flybridge parts may also be needed. We do not publish a separate yacht figure: across all boats we hauled between February 2025 and October 2026 the median was $3.83 per mile, and yachts, being wide, tall and heavy, sit at the top of that range or above. Not a quote; see our yacht transport page for details.
Read more on Boat Transport CostWill my boat transport price change after I book?
Not with us. We are a direct carrier: our own truck and driver, or our affiliate's, move your boat. Nobody has to find a carrier willing to take your load after you book. If the length, beam, height and weight you gave us are accurate, the quote is the price. If something is different, we tell you before dispatch.
Read more on Boat Transport CostWhen is the cheapest time to ship a boat?
On our own boat loads from February 2025 to October 2026, demand peaked from March through June and then ran at roughly half that pace. Hurricane evacuations also fill trucks fast. Booking outside the spring rush, and giving a flexible pickup date, usually gets you a better price. Ask our dispatcher what is moving on your route.
Read more on Boat Transport CostDo I have to pay for haul-out and launch?
Haul-out, blocking and launching at a marina or boatyard are usually billed by the yard, not the carrier. If your boat is already on a trailer, there is no yard fee. We help you coordinate timing with the marina so the truck is not waiting. Our policy on yard coordination is [CONFIRMAR: qué coordinamos y qué paga el cliente a la marina].

14 questions
What is the difference between power only and regular freight shipping?
In regular freight shipping the carrier brings its own trailer and you pay to move your cargo. With power only trucking you already have the trailer, loaded or empty, and you pay only for the truck and driver to pull it. Power only makes sense when the trailer itself is the product, or when you own trailers but don't have enough trucks or drivers.
Read more on Power Only TruckingWho owns the trailer during a power only move?
You do. Ownership never changes hands. We take possession only for the trip, we inspect it with you at pickup, and we hand it back at delivery with photos. That is why the trailer has to be registered, plated and roadworthy before we hook up: the trailer's condition is your responsibility, and the driving is ours.
Read more on Power Only TruckingWho pays if the trailer is damaged in transit?
It depends on the cause and on each party's insurance, so settle it before the first load. Our FMCSA-required liability coverage applies to how we drive. Damage to your trailer is usually handled through trailer interchange coverage or your own physical damage policy. Our current coverage for trailers we pull: [CONFIRMAR: seguro trailer interchange / daño físico y montos]. Ask for our certificate of insurance.
Read more on Power Only TruckingHow is power only priced?
Mostly by distance, the type and weight of the trailer, the equipment needed to pull it, and how flexible the pickup window is. Drop-and-hook loads are easier to schedule than live loads, and waiting time at the dock can add detention. On real power only moves we hauled between February 2025 and October 2026 (empty trailers, restroom trailers, generators and similar, not counting RVs), the median was $2.55 per mile and $1,200 per move, and half of all moves fell between $2.00 and $3.97 per mile. That is not a quote; detention terms come in writing with your firm price before dispatch.
Read more on Power Only TruckingCan you move new RVs from a manufacturer to a dealer?
Yes, that is one of the most common power only jobs we see: new travel trailers and fifth wheels leaving the factory lot for a dealership. We hook up at the manufacturer, run a pre-trip inspection, deliver to the dealer lot and hand off the paperwork. Recurring factory-to-dealer runs can be set up as a program with the same dispatcher.
Read more on Power Only TruckingDo you haul hazardous materials or oversize trailers under power only?
Hazardous materials: [CONFIRMAR: si se aceptan cargas hazmat]. Trailers wider than 8.5 feet (102 inches) need state oversize permits and sometimes escort vehicles, which adds lead time and cost. We tell you on the first call whether we can handle the load, and if we can't, we say so instead of brokering it to someone else.
Read more on Power Only TruckingHow far in advance should I book power only?
For planned moves, a few days of notice gives us room to match the right truck and plan the route. For urgent loads, call dispatch 24/7 and we will tell you honestly whether we can make your window. Typical lead time for a standard booking: [CONFIRMAR: anticipación típica para reservar].
Read more on Power Only TruckingDo you own portable restrooms or rent them out?
No. We are a transport carrier, not a rental company. You own or rent the units; we pick them up and deliver them where you need them. That keeps us out of your customer relationship: we haul for rental companies and contractors without competing with them. If you need units, your sanitation supplier provides them and we handle the move.
Read more on Portable Restroom and Disaster Relief TransportHow fast can you get a truck to us in an emergency?
Dispatch answers 24/7, and we give you a real pickup window on the first call instead of a vague promise. How fast a truck can roll depends on where our nearest driver is, the equipment you need and road conditions in the affected area. Our typical mobilization time is [CONFIRMAR: tiempo típico de movilización en emergencias].
Read more on Portable Restroom and Disaster Relief TransportCan you move restroom and shower trailers, not just single units?
Yes. Restroom trailers and shower trailers are a core part of this service, along with ADA-accessible units, handwash stations and support equipment like generators and water tanks. Send us the length, weight, hitch type and whether the trailer is road-ready, and we will match the right truck. Equipment we run for this: [CONFIRMAR: equipo — hotshot/gooseneck/dually/tractor].
Read more on Portable Restroom and Disaster Relief TransportHow many portable toilets fit on one load?
It depends on the unit model, whether they are standard or ADA, and the deck we assign. Standard units are light but bulky, so space usually runs out before weight does. Our current capacity per load is [CONFIRMAR: capacidad de baños por carga y tipo de tráiler]. Tell us your unit count and models and we will plan the loads before the truck leaves.
Read more on Portable Restroom and Disaster Relief TransportDo you work in hurricane and wildfire zones?
Yes, as long as the roads are open to commercial traffic and the site is safe to reach. Before dispatching into an affected area we check road closures, fuel availability and site access with you. If a route is closed, we tell you right away and work out a staging point instead of letting a load sit without an update.
Read more on Portable Restroom and Disaster Relief TransportAre you licensed and insured for this kind of freight?
Best Friend Transport LLC is registered with FMCSA under USDOT 4241168 and MC 1642448, and you can verify both on the FMCSA SAFER site. As a registered motor carrier we carry the liability insurance FMCSA requires. Cargo coverage details for your equipment: [CONFIRMAR: monto y tipo de seguro de carga]. Ask for a certificate of insurance before the first load.
Read more on Portable Restroom and Disaster Relief TransportCan you handle recurring moves, not only emergencies?
Yes. Plenty of the work is planned: season starts for event companies, rotating units between job sites, moving inventory between branch yards. Recurring moves are easier to schedule, and the same dispatcher learns your yards, contacts and gate rules. Tell us your usual lanes and frequency and we will quote them as a program.

4 questions
Is Best Friend Transport a broker or a carrier?
We are a carrier. Best Friend Transport LLC holds its own operating authority with FMCSA (USDOT 4241168, MC 1642448), and your RV or boat moves on our trucks with our drivers or those of our affiliate. We do not post your load on a board or sell it to the lowest bidder, so the company that quotes you is the company that shows up.

Our reviews are on our Google Business Profile [CONFIRMAR: enlace a reseñas de Google]. We ask every customer for honest feedback after delivery, and we would rather show you a short list of real reviews than a long list we cannot back up. A dispatcher reviews every request personally and contacts you with a price [CONFIRMAR: tiempo de respuesta, p. ej. el mismo día hábil]. For urgent loads, call sales at (239) 763-5447 and we can quote you on the phone.

Not if the details you gave us are accurate. We are a direct carrier, so we price on our own trucks and costs. The price only changes if the load changes, for example a bigger unit or a different address, and we tell you before anything moves.

Yes. Fill out the form in Spanish on our Spanish page, or call or message us on WhatsApp at (954) 899-9436. Our dispatchers work in English and Spanish, and your quote, contract and updates come in the language you choose.
